APOTHIC SOUR POUR OVER
Whiskey meets Apothic Red in this deceptively simple, but decadently delicious wine cocktail.
INGREDIENTS:
½ oz. Apothic Red
2 oz. bourbon
1 oz. lemon juice
1 oz. simple syrup
Lemon peel or Amarena dark cherries (optional garnishes)
DIRECTIONS:
1. Combine 2 ounces bourbon, 1 ounce lemon juice, and 1 ounce simple syrup into cocktail shaker filled with ice
2. Shake until cold and strain into glass over rocks
3. Float ½ ounce Apothic Red over back of bar spoon onto the sour’s surface
4. Garnish with lemon peel and an Amarena dark cherry to really take it over the top
